Not perfect, but it's over reserve at $8,900.00 and the auction ends in two hours (Apr-02-09 11:48:38 PDT)

No affiliation whatsoever.

Damn. I really need to stop coming on RL. These deals are showing up on a regular basis now and I don't have the cash to buy. Especially since I just got laid off - grrr...

I've got some cash, but not enough for a new house. Four cars and two car carage already...

I would say that this car was well-purchased at $9.5k. However, relying solely on the information in the ebay add, I would say that this car is in need of the full-monty (minus timing belt) engine treatment (e.g., rubber, plastic, sensors, powder-coating, etc.) plus probably many other items that are typical for a 100k-mile 20-year old 928 (shocks, HVAC actuators, LH rebuild etc.)

I would say that is a realistic price for the cars condition and mileage but I would agree with Dave that the car will need a mechanical overhaul if it hasn't been done and that will cost some serious bucks.

Its all relative I guess.
