Yup, get a short 27 and a longer extension.

FYI............27mm is the size for the non-air bag steering wheel nut also.

1 1/16" will work also if you don't have a 27mm available.

How about for the two screws/bolts that hold the airbag to the wheel?

lets see how many replies we can get with the same answer LOL

27mm Paul, and yeah a short extension is necessary. The Torx bits are T25 or T15, i forget.

All the tools are loaded, with the new wheel and shifter.
Now if only the weather can clear up a bit, James will get a new wheel in one of his GTS

By the way, I knew that 27mm was the size for the older wheels, I have taken mine in and out often enough, but since the splines are quite a bit smaller on the airbag wheels, I just assumed the nut was different.

Thanks again guys

Paul
