Am working on 4 at once. The economy should be recovering any day now.

Best wishes to the new owner. Good looking car!

Sometimes its cheaper to buy a car which has already been restored, it really depends on your specific situation.

I would love to have this as a track/regular driver so I can keep the GT in the garage for the really nice days and shows.

I'd love to have it in the garage and drive it on nice days so I can drive the new '85 euro as a track/DD car!
This car is beautiful and has taken plenty of love and affection from Samantha to keep it that way - it would cost far more to bring one to this standard - If you just want to stimulate the economy you might as well buy all the junkers you see and restore them - Ooooops - thats me......

My idea of a "restoration" doesn't include the use of used parts unless it's leather products!!!!!

I would like to thank Samantha and Eric, it was great seeing you guys.

Tomcat and I looked at the car yesterday and someone is getting a great car.

I wanted it very much, I called the wife (haven't always done that) and she let me know that I had too many cars already (8) and three are 928's. Some words like "I guess you don't want to make it to your 25th anniversary”, that was the nice one. It wasn't pretty,

I hope it goes to an enthusiast. For me this will be the one that got away!

If I hadn't bought the 87 5 speed project car last year, damn.

Glenn,

While I know you are dissapointed, you gotta admit a wife that draws the line at ONLY 9 cars... is definitely a keeper... others should be so lucky!.

Dave,
I agree, this one would have burst the bubble. I told her I would sell my 88 (great sorted car) and 87 5 speed, I even mentioned the idea of selling 71 Triumph Stag I've had for 19 years. Timing was off!

I need to concentrate on the Strosek!

So Glen, Are all 8 cars yours? My wife is pretty mad at me at 4 cars. The 928 was "her" 2007 xmas gift. She thinks I pull a "Homer bowling ball" on her.

Okay, so who picked up this beauty? It obviously wasn't me, but I did look into it.

No, only seven are mine. She wishes I only had four!

I have her minivan in the garage finishing up the blown head gasket job. Dexcool is corrosive and leaves a sludge in the system! What a pain to work on, talk about a jigsaw puzzel. No wonder GM is in such trouble.
