Nope its an entirely new Dan. Not pod guy, danglerb or any of those other guys. He is his own person and there was even talk of some sort of 2-toned interior as I'm told the wife does not care for the all-black treatment. So stay tuned as I'm sure he'll put his periscope "up" at some point.

Thanks Nicole!

I think the price is very reasonable for a 1991 GT with all the work he has put into it I don't think that you will have any trouble getting the full price. Good luck on the sale

Its already a done deal but FYI this is a 1991 S4 automatic. I think any 1990 or 1991 928S4 is automatically an automatic

Can't wait to meet him and see the car! Could you please make him aware of the two 928 specific organizations?

Will do. I'm delivering the car to his Bay Area storage area right next to his sailboat in the next couple weeks. Really nice guy, he offered up to let me stay onboard even though he is outta town.

Nicole - will be glad to do intros as soon as I get to the mainland. for now the Shark will swim near the Bay area until I make some, I like to think, refinements, to the car. After that the Shark will swim in the warmer Pacific climes of Hawaii. As Kie said, my wife, and to some extent me too, prefer something other than all black interior. That Turquoise Metallic looks really great and it is unique. Thinking of doing something more in line with the exterior color. Multi-tone perhaps - that color makes many color options possible. (greens, blues, white, all burgundy, green+white, green+blue, ... endless) For now it's still lots of thinking. Will make it a point to to participate at Norcal events when I can. I travel to the Bay area regularly for work. The Shark will be my transpo when there for the time being... Look forward to meeting everyone.

Dan

Hi Dan:

Thanks for responding, and congratulations!

As to the interior, a friend of mine had a 968 convertible in that very exterior color, with classic grey interior. That looked great!

Then, there is a guy on the German PFF board, who has a black GTS with a teal full leather interior. It's so intensive, you can only drive it with sunglasses on...

Of course, there are lots of options in between. I can help with little accessories and trim, but Paul Champagne is the specialist when it comes to custom leather.

I look forward to meeting you - hopefully at Sharks in the Park on May 9.
