Default Wiring question with EL Glo Gauges

This one is going to be easy I am sure, but here it goes.
I am installing some Speedhut Reverse EL Glo Gauges. I have to wire in there inverter and I was thinking of using the wires that lead to the rheostat that controls the normal gauge lights. My rheostat is in the fritz anyway, so I figured I would just pull it and replace it with the inverter. Here comes the problem. Since it is one of the "reverse" el glo's I wanted some front lighting for the needles. I have LED lights for the standard gauge illumination. I believe for LED's you must have the switch all on or off (no dimming). So, if I replace the rheostat with their inverter, will I have to have the gauges turned all the way up to light the LED's?
Is there a simple way around this?
Thanks for any help?

The wiring is pretty straightforward: you're going to wire the EL circuit in parallel with the LED circuit. In other words, connect the both the supply lead for the LEDs and the supply lead for the EL circuit to the hot side of the rheostat. And BTW, let me know if your needle illumination is OK when you finish! I'm still tweaking my Speedhut setup.

-If you are looking to remove the rheostat.

It creates resistance which dims the lights. Remove the rheostat and you have a solid 12V, full on.

Thanks guys, I was pretty sure that it would work that easy, but I just wanted to be positive (no pun intended).
