Would these IC's be usable for this application? Might be a good deal here.

One day to go and still only $1.

Dang... so close to pulling the trigger last night and snoozed.
Trying to covertly produce that kind of cash was going to be difficult, but I thought I had a plan.
Oh well, I guess it wasn’t meant to be this time…. one of these days it will be.
Rolf, I hope it works out well for you and please let me know if you change your mind.

Let's assume those are a good quality core (there is a lot of garbage out there in the IC world).
Getting those to fit would be interesting and would probably involve cutting up the car somewhat. They do not look very big (to use only one) so that would complicate things a bit more - trying to find space for both of them.
That's one of the big advantages to air / water, simplified installation. Also, the Murf Stage III intercooler has been "worked over" a few times from the inital version to fit like a glove in the S4 engine bay.
These would work, IMO it wouldn't be worth the effort.
The Murf IC has been tested to over 550rwhp SAE on his personal car:

You are only 5-6 hours away, we can plan a build day in Green Bay!

The bro's in the 'hood here are all shamin' me. Strokers to the left of me, compressors to the right. My poor little stock S4 is doomed to back-of-the-pack.

More like 'keep it alive and happy'. I try to keep it looking garage-queen pretty, but I also drive it whenever I need to get someplace. Good news for you guys is that these performance-improving systems are well sorted, so you can feel comfortable that you'll arrive at your destination within a week or two of your original ETA. Meanwhile I'm a poor former ex performance car guy. I've spent way too many tens of thousand$ on car 'improvements' over the years, a lot more than it costs to just buy a car that goes that fast already. Plus I drive like an old white-haired guy these days. With a kompressor car, I just wouldn't be pushing as far on the pedal to coast from light to light here in burbia.
Rolf, this kit is perfect for you. Lots of extra grunt there for the asking. Low cost for sure, easily removed if you (or the smog *****) so desire. But also easy to 'upgrade' to stage X. Very slippery slope! This is how addicts get started. Sniff this, taste that, try those, pretty soon the exceptional is merely mundane. Must...have...more!!!

Dammit, why is that! I've had my car for exactly 1 year now and it feels like it's just another normal driver to me. Must resist the upgrade to 500rwhp! Maybe I just need to drive the wife's 968 more to be reminded.

For you guys worried about the wife, you could probably suggest that she takes a day to go out and do some shopping, and have the kit installed before she got back and without her ever even knowing. Of course that shopping part of the plan could substantially increase your overall out of pocket cost to get the kit on your car.

Z, you haven't a clue... Mr Edwards' wife takes the kids to Hawaii, with her mother in tow, to enable his weekends in the garage. This is a little deeper than a typical afternoon at the mall, I suspect. Nonetheless, everyone is refreshed after the weekend. Rolf's ride to GB from SoCal would pretty much snuff a whole weekend each way. More likely is that his wrenching society will throw an install party one of these days. Beer only when we are done...
