No denying, 928's are all things to all people..there is no one rule. I just wonder if the Camaro circles for instance, have many of them arguing amongst themselves as to the value of their cars in the way we do. From what I have heard, in being around other marques, they relish the times their models capture a higher price tag...kind of like being at a Red Sox game (I used to live across from Fenway Park ). I just have a hard time understanding why a 928 enthusiast would be upset when a puss example of their dream is listed for a price beyond their means or idea of value.
