Hey folks, this is definately NOT a GT. Upside is, better gas mileage than a GT.

I am just curious if it was the same car with the same things that needed to be done on it. And to make the mental link for those on the board that might remember that car.

I do hope you a speedy sale for a nice looking car none the less.

It's probably the same car, but he did a lot of maintenance to make it a good car. Hopefully he will make money on it, it would be a welcome change since most of us lose on these cars when we sell them.

Wow! Nice 928 at a very good price. Especially with all of the maint done. Good luck with the sale. Wish I wasn't looking for a pickup or I'd be on my way down to see you right now...ha ha.

And no doubt, calling Ken, calling Ken...

Colin I don't think Brian is trying to hide anything. He posted all the issues when he bought the car and has since put some time into addressing the problems. The cosmetic condition alone justifies the price he's asking.

I would seriously have reconsidered my new to me DD to buy this car, it really would be a great driver/DE car so I can leave the GT in the garage for shows.

Afshin,
I wasnt trying to imply he was trying to hide anything.

I was mearly trying to make that connection so that others who were interested would know the history.

I like the color combo.......& the 89 S4 5speed is quite rare too..... $10k really isn't a bad price.....& it should get that much on flea-bay no problem.....

It does appear to be one of those impossible scenarios where an owner actually MAKES money on a 928.....I only know of 1 other one.....

Given the recent maintenance to the motor and some of the extra goodies (eibach/bilsteins) this car's a steel at this price. If it was me, I'd not sell it for that little.

That car is a doll. A perfect candidate for a supercharger.

How is the driver's side seat bolster ? I always look for that shot on Ebay.

Good luck with the sale.
