Default 1990 928 FS on ebay

Has anyone looked at this 928 in Vienna, VA? It has been relisted several times on ebay.

Subtle...not. Brian...your first post shouldn't be one advertising a car you have interest in.

Man, that intake needs an R&R BAD.

TB/WP are probably due, and more than likely what caused the car to be traded in (if I was a bettin' man).

Wheels look like ****, shocks are probably **** too. Brakes? yeah them too....

Leather on front seats and steering wheel need some attention. Exterior looks nice.

Might as well figure in $10k to get it back up to standards.

I would give you $5k for it, which is probably at least twice what you give the dumb *** that traded it in.

If you are looking for a 928, you might want to check here. It needs nothing.

Yes, he probably decided to register his account 3 years ago just so he could pimp his car on ebay in 2009

OUCH!!! You sure know how to welcome a guy. Is that how you treat everyone? And what makes you think I have any connection to that car I asked about? You must have crazy powers of deduction!

I am a lurker from waaaaaaay back, even before Rennlist was created (I miss Gene O'Rourke!!!). I am only recently seriously considering purchasing a 928, and noticed the car I mentioned in the posting above had been relisted a few times. Figured there must be something wrong with it, and wondered if anyone on here had the scoop.

Thanks to those of you who actually posted useful info!

Brian

Hello and welcome to Rennlist! When you have a moment, please read the Guidelines which are posted up top. Posting ads is reserved only for Members not 'users'. Rob, I can see where there might be a misunderstanding. However, in reading the rules, I do not see where it is prohibited to link to an ad that is not for your personal gain. Perhaps I missed it?

Thanks!

P.S. Is John D. still around?

Hi, yes JD is still here but not as much. And if you read the Guidelins, 'users' cannot post links to ads, it's right there under Ads By Users. Either way, why not join if you are back and love it here...

Rob,

I respectfully disagree with you on this one. You might consider rewriting the guidelines to make it clearer. The guidelines say no ads BY users. The ad is not mine. I am not trying to sell anything, which is what the guidelines are prohibiting users from doing. I have seen many examples of others posting links just as I did above to seek advice and recommendations on a prospective purchase.

Regards,

Brian

Not to make matters worse but I would agree with Brian on this one. He is a potential new owner and is looking for a car. Personally I wouldn't pay for a membership either if I was on the fence about buying a car.

Good luck on your search!

This member has a really nice 928 for sale at a very reasonable price and he is in VA.
