Default Could this be a bad Torque tube?

I have a 1989S4 with 151k miles. With the snow on the ground I've only used my car two times since I got it in Nov. I do start it once a month and let it run for 30 minutes. The problem is when I put it in gear ( Auto), even with the brake pushed to the floor it seems like to car moves an inch or so. ( Its not) This "flex" also comes with a light bang like a car with a bad univision joint. This happens when going from "park to any gear or "R" to "D" . Does this sound like a bad Torque tube?

Probably not since the TT is a rigid shaft. Sounds more like the TC or the control pressure in the tranny

you could have a loose CV joint, check both ends and also the rear axle nut.
The motor mounts could be collapsed or the trans mounts might need to be replaced.

You might be better off not running your car unless you can drive it,... to leave it running for 30 mins will definitely heat up the underbody where the cats are, and could possibly cause a fire, also it can superheat the TT that will over time damage the TT bearings

Thank you very much for the input. The motor mounts are collapsed.
