Tony, Tony, Tony...If you're going to have "Ludicrous Power", you have to change your avatar.

LOL Tony. I love that exact sort of thing ... and no hard feelings, both drivers probably loved it. Our cars are AWESOME!

Ken can you snap and post a pic of your tensioner...? Or is it on a thread already?
Here you go. This is the old 2.75 inch diameter 6 rib compared to the new 2.5 inch diameter 8 rib pulley and belt. "Stock kit configuration on the pulleys"

Works GREAT !!!

Would be nice to get an 8rib pulley in a 2 inch diameter. If i recall they dont make one that small.....YO, Darien
Perhaps i need to send off my 6rib 2inch and have it made wider That would be the best way to assure belt traction.

Or machine a large 8rib down to a smaller diameter.

ya know...it always the obvious that i miss. good idea!

My idea above was to use the 6 rib as a guide to make a new 8 rib....your idea is much easier i would imagine for a shop to do.

I called Kenne Bell and they don't have a 2" for our application (they called it "the old style"). I also called around to other manufacturers and they wanted way too much for a pulley.

Just send an extra pulley to me and I'll get made what ever size you'd like

Ok, I took care of it

I picked up from KenneBell for about $80 IIRC.
