Since you already have a black exterior I would consider a lite interior possibly Cashmere or even a medium grey, a lighter color will give the car a more open feel

I have black/black and it is a bit much black. A more modern look would be black/tan or black/cashmere like Stan pointed out. Cooler in the summer, more open feeling and a really classic combo.

I think it's hard to beat the dark exterior colors with the tan/champagne/cashmere interiors.

You will regret all black, I have that now and A/C can't pull down the interior heat if parked outside for any length of time, so much glass.

I was at one time getting a Dark Tan with black french seams. I have seen tan with black piping and it looks really classy.

I have an all classic grey interior (see my signature) because I did not want the total darkness. I love dark colors on the exterior of the 928, but in the interior I like the lighter colors.

At the same time, an all black interior will not show its wear as much, and is easier to touch-up. Lighter leathers will change their tone a bit from wear, dirt, and UV light, and it's hard to match dye to that individual wear later.

The car being black opens up a multitude of possibilities.

Depending on how much of the existing interior needs to be restored, a two tone interior is usually an excellent alternative.
And as color schemes go, it's hard to beat black/cork, or black/cashmere.

Either can have a sporty feel or a more classic look, depending on how you go about it.

Most important thing though is how YOU see your car.

Looks like Linen with charcoal piping. Classic.

No, not linen... It's classic grey dash and piping with light grey leather. Steering wheel looks like Paul Champagne's work.

I know this car - it's owned by a local former fighter pilot. Note the shifter...

The steering wheel is indeed one of mine and it is classic gray and black.
