That looks very nice, and is much more practical than all leather - particularly in hot climates or when the car is more than a garage queen.

Keep up the great work, Rob!

One question: I see that you have the defroster vent cover from the later cars on there. Is the dash also a later type, or can old dashes be adapted to work with these newer style vents?

im surprised someone when given the option to put the interior in any color (or combination) would go with Burgundy.

looks good though, i especially like the seams around the door cubby armrest thing.

x2! Wow.

And I'm a burgundy interior lover. It's time for us to come out of the closet.

The dashes from 78-88 are all the same and can be adapted to work with the two separate plastic defroster trim pieces or the later model 89-95 single piece.

I do the same thing Porsche did which is trim a standard vinyl dash so the defroster trim fits and cover it in leather, or vinyl as in this case.

I've always thought Burgundy was a classic and modern color. I think many people that don't like the color have seen worn out tired examples or maybe thinking of some 1970's GM product. A current car that I like (and hope to own at some point )is a late model Aston Martin Vantage which comes in what I would call Burgundy (they call it if I'm not mistaken "Chancellor Red"). I've seen other makes at the dealer near my business (Aston Martin, Jaguar, Porsche,Rolls , Bentley with an occasional Bugatti Veyron). I like what Rob's done and after seeing this example would not hesitate to recover in this color.

Rob,
You guys are incredible craftsmen. I still plan on buying a 993 carpet set from you once I get some spare cash.

I couldn't ever see myself with a burgundy interior, but that does look great. In the first pic the dash & center bit look brown, must be a reflection or something, but from the other pics of course it's not. Great work, pity you're not in my neck of the woods!

Wow, looks great! I have two cars with burgundy interiors. I think doing the dash, pod, center console and door center sections in black would look nice.

Rob,
Excellent work! You really are top notch. If I had to redo my interior, I would go with vinyl on the dash, pod, door panels and rear quarters.

I've had 928s with vinyl and leather rear quarters, and the vinyl holds up MUCH better.
