Has anyone had any expierience with these, are they legit?

Those look like copies of the Autothority chips (the "other chips" mentioned in the ad). I assume that Autothority copyrighted their chips so they are likely not legit. I did try some, there might have been a *slight* improvement according to my uncalibrated butt-o-meter but the higher idle was annoying and raising the rev-limit is, in my opinion, nuts.
For aftermarket chips to have any horsepower gains would mean that Porsche left something behind when they did the original tuning. They were certainly consersative, that's their nature, but being conservative is also necessary for production cars to accomodate tolerances in sensors (e.g. MAF) and injectors, and also to accomodate variations in fuel octane. If you are willing to give up some of that safety margin then a generic performance chip might have some gains, but also with some risks if the tolerances all stack up aganst you.
I think a better path for improving performance is what has been discussed here -- x-pipe with hi-flow (or no) cats, then sharktuning, i.e. chips optimized for your particular car. The other horsepower opportunity for S4's (especially if you have a 5-speed) would be camshafts, the S4 cams are distinctly wussy. Find Dennis K's threads on his "screamer" motor, there is some interesting reading there.
Cheers,
