Was sitting here drinking a glass of wine, made the post above, thought better about it, within a few seconds quick wrote a PM to you, deleted the post.
Then another PM to you after I saw you had already responded to the first post.
From your edits, some folks thought the moderators were making an issue of us reposting non-affiliated ads, which resulted in more questions.
Then my post mysteriously reappears, which is actually just as-well, but unexpected. Wonder how that happened.
Can't do much more at this point. Sorry to the fellow rennlisters that I had created an issue that really didn't need to be created.
It is an interesting study in supply/demand/pricing/communications.
What did any of us do prior to the internet?
Chris...Like I said in the PM sent...we are cool. I hope who ever you know that wants this car jumps on it quick. Assuming it PPI's out ok. Any cheaper ( from the description and few pics ) is a darn GREAT price.

Actually, that is how we found our first 928. Then we were introduced to Rennlist, and the wonderful, amazing car marketplace called the internet, which we would have never considered on our own.

I think I saw that place once or twice from my garage.
I have a crazy beer-induced idea... how about Dean is the sole keeper/publisher of CL adds on this forum. We send all our CL finds through him...
...he publishes them unless someone has requested otherwise.
Thanks soupcan for the link. The internet is wonderful. I can scour an entire geographic area for project cars now. This could be a bad thing. One thing occurs to me as I go through ads...Are these people high? Some of these things are rolling paperweights and they actually want money?
I have been "beaten to the punch" by other forum members. Big whoop. It is a free country and that is what the CO is paying his or her advertising dollar for. Whatever.

Doesn't this fall under the heading "No good deed goes unpunished!" ??
