Default 928 @ Porsche Parade Mexico 2008

928's are simply to rare in Mexico, I believe that if we look everywhere, scrap garages, barn finds and shops we would not get anything more than 30 928's mostly in poor to non-running conditions... basically during the 928 era sports cars were banned in Mexico and only a very few made in as "gray" imports, with no industry to support them most went dead in garages... I knew at least three in this condition... so looking at a running 928 in Mexico may be rarer than a CGT (there were 7 sold in Mexico and only 4 remain) but at the Porsche Parade Mexico the number of 928's matched those of the CGT to be exact that number is reduced to 1 (one, yes you read right ONE 928)

well, with no 928 content in my report of the event it may become of no interest to you but still if you want to view what is going on shouth of the border, follow the links and view the entire event, enjoy:

Excellent Photography!

Looks like a great venue and a really good time. Never knew there was such a big Porsche following in MX, thanks for posting.

Nice. Wasn't there some 928 guys in Mexico that used to race them backwards because they were more aerodynamic?
