Default Track Pedal Set

Has anyone here used a set of track pedals ?

Looking at what's available on the market I really have no idea what may or may not fit.

The main trouble that I am having is making my throttle blips on down shift during maximum threshold braking. I end up at the end of the brake zone with my right foot just out of position from it slipping. A wider gas pedal might help me not have to bias so much toward the throttle and have more foot on the brake.

I have already tried to change my foot position angle etc.

Your thoughts appreciated.

Ken

This is the kit I still need to install in my track shark.....I didn't install it before the track day yesterday and it would have helped heel-toe down shifting a bunch....It will be in for the next track day

Have you taken advantage of pedal adjustment to get the brake and gas pedal as aligned as possible?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the link....I go to Carl's site all the time but never saw those. They look exactly like what I need.

Charley,
I do have everything adjusted so that when I am well into the braking the gas pedal is the same height. The problem is just that I am compressing forward and applying a lot of force to the pedal at the same time. The down shifts start to get a little sloppy and it's harder to feel the brakes during threshold braking.

I'll get a set of these ordered.

Regards,

Ken
