Bought new Bosch connectors and boots. Old ones disintegrated, plus wire insulater became hard and brittle from heat and oil.
Had some appropriate teflon coated wires (3).
Used a piece of thick walled vac hose as the body of the "wire". (that was the only interesting thing, maybe it will help somebody in the future)
Boots just fit over it. Soldered and crimped the connectors.
Looks like it will work!!! Getting there, little by little.
I know that Roger is working on a replacement connector "wire", already made-up, that will be an improvement!

The '85-86 TPS harness is something that I've been bugging Rog to get made some place. Do yourself a favor, never get those wires mixed up after you've had the intake put back together. Pain in the ****.
I think we've got a harness being made, but no details other than the fact I think something is in the works.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

The Roger-supplied wire will be better.
On the vac hose, the wires I put inside had to be those thin, high quality insulated wires that go inside control cabinets for PLC-type stuff. They have the stiffness needed to push them though the vac hose.
Also, must lube the wires and boots with silicon grease.
