Yea, me too! I have been told the GT3 and Cup Cars are SUPER EASY to drive fast...I guess that is compared to regular 911's, but it sounds like you are saying that the 928 is STILL easier to drive fast!

I just got back from Germany & saw the factory also. Unfortunately, I wasn't quite the VIP, so my visit included the old museum and the new showroom across the street. The new museum building is absolutely beautiful and is supposed to be open at the end of January.

I think that can be said of many good purpose built race cars. The 962's had that reputation. Almost any driver could ring out 9-10's with little drame which is what made them so good at endurance racing. I talked to Patrick long about drivng the new spider and he made the same comment. He claimed it was easier than driving a cup car at 9-10's. That said it is always the real talent that can find that extra bit.

I guess when I hear that comment about a car I take it to mean it is very predictable at the limit... that my in fact be WHY the car is "EASY" at 9/10ths. As you noted that is what makes for a good endurance car because you are not always on the edge of disaster!
