Oh, tell your kids not to call me "Sir" that scared the hell out of me, I'm not old enough to be a sir, and I'm glad the tools got some use, was a pleasure.

in person encounters are usually more productive than being electronic Rambo's.....I certainly agree-- (and you're not on ignore, you have to add to your contact list, which has been done--my oversight)

"Sir"??? They called you "Sir"??? Holy crappo.....they doooo listen!?!?!?!

Geez Sean, thanks for posting that FINE picture of me... Can't believe I actually didn't make you delete that from your camera right then! DANG IT!

Tim...you TOUCHED BLUE82?! OMG! I can't believe you did that! LOL!

Thanks for coming over guys, it was a pleasure to host you all at the house! Mi casa es su casa, my 928 friends are always welcome...come by anytime!

Jim, I think you are right about that first 928 gathering! I didn't even think about it at the time (I was a 928 newbie at the time and was just in awe that I had such a cool car and was so glad to meet others with the same) but it was the newest of the 928's at that gathering! Oh, wait... Did David Wolfe make that first one??? Maybe he and Carl did not show till the 2nd or 3rd gathering. They both had '88 S4's too. Neither has a 928 today (well Carl has had my '81 for over a year so I think he has taken it in as his own at this point!) I know Elliott did not make that first gathering but of course you have his '88 now, and then just after I got my GTS at the end of '97 Jerry got his '94 Iris GTS... Been a great ride! Hope it continues for a long time to come!

Best to you all and hope to see you again soon!

This may come across wrong, but I think I'm one of one who has passed gas in Blue '82.

Kidding, my butt puckered when I sat in it. Wow. I got to learn how to drive a stick in an '85 1985, in a 1985. Talk about flash backs. She smells brand new.

The fact that I've touched her, sat in her, took pictures of her is enough for me.

As usual James, thanks a bunch. And no, you posed for that picture, it stays.

Count me in. Won't be in a 928, but I'll show up in support.

Best,
So, how exactly do we explain to our significant others that we are going to an *** meeting on valentines day?

For those of you out of town... Well, we understand. For those here in the area, you don't get better *** than at Rudy's! Ok, that is a lie...I know a lot of other one word places where you can get better *** than Rudy's...maybe we will start meeting at Sugar's! LOL!

Hope to see a few more folks there. Going to send out this reminder to those on my regular email list as well!

Oh crap, that's right, Valentine's. I'm voting we either move it to Sunday afternoon, or make it much earlier on Saturday. Pretty sure the lady has lunch plans for me.

Tim,

I have had no emails or PM's from anyone...

Rog,

The point is/was to have a consistent weekend date that can be put on the calender so there is none of this, is it the 1st Saturday, or 2nd Saturday or 4th Saturday. Just taking the advise of you guys up north...put it on the calendar, make it the same weekend day and time each month...

SOOO, it is Saturday the 14th at 11:30 AM at Rudy's on 620... If you can't make it fine. Shoot me an email or PM if you CAN make it and are PLANNING to make it so I don't sit around waiting for no one to show... Simple. Guess, what... March will be the same 2nd Saturday at 11:30AM at Rudy's on 620... EASY! Put it on your calendars now.

I think I will start another thread though and call it the 2nd Saturday Austin GTG... That is pretty easy! That way it does not matter which month it is either and we can just dig it up and send it around!

Be cool everyone! Oh, 14th does not bother me as my wife will be out of town as usual to a meeting. Just like every other year... Hmmm...maybe I should be picking up on this! LOL!

Hope to see some of you soon!
