I was at Rector Porsche in Burlingame early this week talking with a long time salesman (26 years)..he said that Bill Walsh bought a 928 in the early 80's and drove it for a long time, eventually putting more than 180k miles on it before he sold it....THEN after he sold it, he regretted selling the car..... I wonder what happened to the car....does anyone know or have it?

 

Don't know about the 928 but along the same 49er line, I sold my 1988 Mustang this week, the one that I rear ended Joe Montana's kids and nanny with in the early 90's. Lucky I didn't have the 928 at the time.

His son posts over at Pelican and his late father was an avid Porsche enthusiast. At last years Super Bowl, Mr. Walsh's son and daughter did the coin toss and he posted up info on it over ther to alert his former PCA friends.
