Default 1988 S4 right rear tail light spider crack

When I purchased this car, the right rear tail light has a small spider crack in the lense. The crack does not allow water into the assembly.

From my search, all the rear assemblies have the "tri-color" lenses (red, yellow and white). My rears are all red with a white backup light--no yellow lense.

Any ideas on how to repair the spider cracks or do I have to replace the assembly. If I need to replace, any suggestions on where to purchase would be appreciated.

I am going to guess that the PO painted your lens with a red paint - common practice.
As for the spider lens I am not aware of a fix. Replace is the only option.
I sell the new lens for $199.99.
