I started my track experience with an open diff., and besides the issues already mentioned, I also noticed that coming over the top of the uphill at Lime Rock, the 928 would get light and spin one wheel for quite a bit. Tthat was with stock hp. The upgrade to the limited slip eliminated that problem (still with stock hp).

Yep, that's me, hopefully we can run into each other again soon. I'll be at the track more once I finally finish school next year. I just ordered a used diff from 928 intl w/ the half off, and I'll probably get Carl's kit once I have the cash and time to install it.
I didn't even think about you having ABS and not locking up the inside rear. When I upgraded to 993TT brakes I got rid of the ABS with the OB spindles.
