Default Momentus Day and Thanks

I just have to share my excitment with the forum.

Today was a very momentus day. In May, I bought a non-running 82 928 off of ebay. The poor car had previously been sitting neglected for about 5 years. Started working on it right away to restore life, but then got interrupted by a move/relocation across the country. Just recently resumed work. And....today it passed the required state inspection so that I can legally drive it. Still lots and lots of work to do, but IT IS ON THE ROAD!

It is appropriate that I have this good news to share so close to Thanksgiving. I have found information on this forum to be absolutely indispensible for my progress to date. Tons of information that folks have posted in the past, and fantastic responses to questions I've posted myself. So, my thanks to all you good people who give your time and expertise so readily to help folks like me.

May you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Tom

You don't say details, but I think we can assume it is momentus and you are an honorable man for saving a shark.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nice work.

I remember when my non running ’85 was finally plated. It was indeed a memorable day. Just like you said, even though it needed a lot more work, at least it was road worthy.

That is great! Very happy for you and hope to be sharing your excitement even further near the end of this weekend. I'm stoked to get this S4 back on the road. Happy T-day!!
