Yes you have Roger all the shocks are filled with and work with oil. The gas is there just to control the "boiling" of the oil. It does have a small spring effect but the oil and valves are what conrol the bouncing of the springs.

I have 4 bilsteins ready for a rebuild off of my 82 any offers?

I have to agree, and it's not just because I hang out with the guy.

Hell, when I got mine for both of our cars, the cost was a lot higher. This is a steal.

I just wanted to add that I replaced my shocks with the gas Boge's from Roger a few weeks ago with no other changes other than adjusting the ride height up a tad bit and it made a ginourmous change in the way the car handled and felt on the road. Stuck like glue during our 3rd Coast event. This is a no brainer for any aging 928. You won't be dissappointed.
