Default "adaptation parameters" question

Where does the LH ECU store it's "adaptation parameters"?
The reason I ask is I'm installing a rebuilt LH ECU but I'm installing my SharkTuner PEM chip into it.
So even though a battery disconnect was done to change out the components is my PEM storing the old "adaptation parameters" or do they reside somewhere else in the ECU board?

Or.... another way of asking for you Sharktuner guru's...

Do you need to reload the file into a PEM to really reset the "adaptation parameters"?

Hi Craig,
If you want to reset the parameters in a previously used PEM bin file, just use the "reset to zero" button on the SyatemMonitor screen.

If you leave it to its own devices, it will slowly readapt when car is driven to whatever state the car is in at present.

Thanks John! Are the adaptation parameters the O2 adjustment that the ECU makes for each cell?

The adaptation values are used in the final computation of the injector length for each cell. Other factors that determine the final injector pulse width calcualtion are battery volts, temp 2 reading etc.

If you do a battery disconnect then the adaptation paramters are lost as they are stored in an SRAM in the LH ECU.
