The dreaded floppy door got the better of me and i have the door trim off waiting for a motor from Roger. I pulled the arrestor out and had a good look at it and theorised how it worked. My inside guts part still ahd white material in it and the 2 pins. I put it in the vice after I had removed the radius arm and squeezed it across the plane that it needed to be tighter on the radius arm in 2 places, then pushed the radius arm back in and bingo... "bewdiful" I put some high quality silicone hose (about 5mm) on the door stop end of the radius arm as the white stuff was missing from there to make the end of travel nice and soft and i swear it is better than brand new. Remove and repair not remove and replace...easy fix and seriously easy to do.
