Default Considering this car.........Help Please!

Hi all,

Saw this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-...QQcmdZViewItem

Canadian car with current Florida title. Used car trade-in. Supposedly odometer shows 103,000 KMs, but Carfax and Autocheck say otherwise. Previous owner (2nd owner) insists to the dealer that 103,000 is correct. Even still I like the car and may make the dealer an offer. What do you guys think? I know, I know you've all heard that before from noobs like me (Not really such a noob though. I already have an '83 and '84.) A/C inop and it needs window switches. What do you think it's worth? Any opinions good or bad are welcome. Thanks for reading.

Joe, It looks really clean, are there any more pic's? (Engine, interior, seats).

What do Carfax & Autocheck indicate for mileage?

These are a bit worrying:
The previous owner did not keep this vehicle garaged.
And:
This vehicle appears to have some of its' electrical system not functioning
And I found this amusing:
If you purchase this car without calling for a walk around description no refunds or price adjustments will be made.
Does that mean that if you DO call for a "walk around description" that they WOULD make refunds and price adjustments? (I didn't think so...)

Happy hunting!!

At the bottom of the auction is a link to CarFax who's report is not as encouraging as the Autocheck report. The only problems according to the saleperson at the dealership is the A/C not blowing cold and the drivers side window switch doesn't always work. The car is in their shop now being inspected, whatever that means... I'll talk to them tomorrow about a PPI at a local P shop. Thanks for your opinions guys. Keep'em coming!!!

from the pictures the car looks good i would make sure to pull the lower bell housing and have the flex plate clamp loosened unless, you can pry back the crank at the front to check the play.
Pull the dipstick and drip some oil onto a black piece of paper or cardboard and look at it in the sun, if you find metallic particles then there are internal problems.
