LH pin out question

Craig,

If you are trying to find out if someone rearranged your pins this should help.

Check your wiring schematics, looks like there is a wire going to pin 15, should be green with blue stripe at the LH Wireform Connector. According to the schematics this is also for the AC system like Pin 14 is.

I have never verified this for sure, but you can easily check continuity between one or the other of the pins on your AC anti-freeze switch and pin 15 of the LH.

Based on this your harness seems to be correct (no pin on 31 and a pin on 15). Not sure if that is what you are trying to figure out, if not let me know.

BTW, a short quick test could be made between LH Pin 15 and "V" Connector Pin 15 and again at "J" Connector Pin 21.

Of course all of this is based on the Schematics being correct and the LH Pinout Chart not being "complete". However, your harness seems to agree with the schematics.

Let us know because I am now curious.

David, how or where do I find the "V" connector and the "J" connector? I'd like to check this out!

Duh, never mind, you mean the connectors at the bottom of the CE panel right?

Yes, you can always go to my website, clck on "928 Fuse/Relay Charts" , select your year and the lowest part of the first illustration shows their locations.

Bingo! Definitely have continuity between those three points.
What does this tell me about my harness/plug? Is this a normal 1988?
