The electromotive install on the '91 GT is proceeding smoothly.

It takes a bit of time, of course, as we have to pattern every part we make (so we can make more) and we are constantly stopping to take photographs and notes for the installion manual.

We have been able to make a mounting bracket for the ECU that places it in the same location as the old LH and EZK boxes, and we have also been able to make mounts for the DFU's that place them where the coils used to be.

Even more importantly, we have been able to adapt into the OEM fuse panel with the Eletromotive/928MS wiring harness. The keeps all the fuses in that same location and will simplify and professionalize the installation.

Waiting on ignition wires now, then we should be able to key it up...

Here are a few random photos:

A few more photos showing the coil packs installed and the new ignition wires loomed in place.

We provide this custom ignition wire set for the Electromotive-equipped 928 with the kit.

I have a few questions I found this post searching on CIS.

Will you offer a full fuel system hardware uprade that will work with the Stand alone? IE rails, lines, pump, and fpr?

Is this system MAP based or MAF on already fuel injected cars?

How well is the cold start working and trainsition from cold start?

I have the 78 and not looking to do Forced Induction but I bet with a well tuned EFI system will be huge for driveablity.

Eric,

We offer the Tec Gt kit in several iterations. We include the Electromotive-to-928 adapter instructions to supplement the OEM manual. We wrote that one ourselves, and it is 928-specific.

We have been successful at keeping the entire Electromotive ECU install at the fuse panel only - there is no need to re-wire the whole car. We have specific instructions for each IO device and sensor. Its a very clean installation.

To answer your question - the transition from cold to warm up is so smooth that it virtually does not exist.

Please look att he different models for your year of 928 here:
