Default newbie question on wheels and full resoration project

hi all
i am in the process of completely restoring a 86.5 and need advice on the wheels
what are the correct sizes of tires ? looks like 225/50/16 on at the moment
the gentleman i bought it from said the last s2 shared some of the gobins of the s4 ,does that means the rear wheels where 245? he mentioned "the optional wide track fitted "

i have found on the net the heat stickers on some of the switches ,mainly sunroof, windows ,rear wipers .is there any other stickers like indicators and so on

best regards

The wheels your car should have are referred to as manhole covers. They came in two sizes:16X7 or 16X8. You can see the difference if you compare them, but I think the '86.5 came with the 16X7 which would call for a 225/50.

the rear hubs have slide on spacers (long studs ) for the wide track but all 4 wheels were 7x16 with 225 tires... All the R OW none usa 86 model cars use the same brakes and suspension as the S-4
