Tanks Guys. I look out at this scene as I sit at my computer. Very calming indeed. Now on the other side of the house is the 928- quite a contrast with inner peace, eh?
The limestone is abundant in my area. Actually it is difficult to NOT find it. The pond is lined with fish safe, 45 mil, EPDM rubber liner which is black when new. The system encorporates a bottom drain and skimmer working in conjunction to pull the water to the pump. The skimmer keeps the surface like glass and the bottom drain at the lowest point pulls the heavy solids such as fish waste. The pump pushes the water to a pressurized waste processing filter. From there the clean water goes through an ultraviolet light system which breaks down the cell wall structure of planktonic algae that make it through the filter. This eliminates 'green water' syndrome. The water is returned to the pond via independently valved lines to two waterfalls and a bottom jet. The fish look like they're swimming in Gin all year 'round. All of the equipment is located under the hemispherical deck located slightly behind the garden meditation house (which doubles as a massage therapy room where I sometimes work on a client ) in one of those pics.

Thanks for the compliments and inquiries. I am beginning to feel a bit guilty about discussing all this on this site- (What was the original post? Oh, yeah... Tail light burnout and warning light staying on.)
Anyway, If anyone complains we'll take any future discussion to private emails.

Best,

Allen

Alan,

I played a large roll in a pond project for a man in your home town of Phoenix. He paid my travel and hotel expenses and even insisted that he pay for my time while en route. He took me out every night that I was there and gave me several hundred bucks to give to the dancers at the clubs telling me that he wants the money gone before we leave the club. He owns a machine shop lathe turning large titanium parts for military aircraft engines. Nice government contract. I did the filtration work on the pond. His name is Nghp Nguyen. Perhaps when you want your 928 to go REALLY fast, he can hook you up with a fighter jet engine!!!
