Hi guys. I have stupid question about those straps.

Are there any other options rather then buying new once? I mean, least expensive once that I found were $36 each(Vertex), $150 just for 4 rubber peices. Anyone tried to repair those, changing rubber to leather or something?

I'm not sure how much those straps vary by year, but 928 International sells them with a 911 part number for the OB's for like $12.

Edit: nevermind it looks like those are only good for 78 to 84. They do have 85 to 95 used for $15 though.

I have two different straps on my air cleaner box, they differ in the buckle only. Both work, so maybe the difference between early and late is unimportant.
