1990 S4 for sale - $5k
Hello all,
I'm posting this on behalf of my good friend & fellow 928er, George V, from Sebring. He's selling his 1990 S4 auto for $5,000 & he asked me to get the word out for him. He's selling it due to personal financial reasons, thus the bottom line price to move it quickly. It does have slightly higher mileage of 156k, but he's maintained it & it's mechanically sound.
Recent work he's told me that's been performed includes: TB/WP last year(2k miles); hoses replaced, including transmission cooler; flappy valve; intakes painted; new front tires; rear tires 18 mos.; radio replaced & bazooka sub woofer. Also has upgraded GTS front brakes with front pad replaced 2 yrs ago & rear's last yr.
Has typical stone chips in the silver paint but no body damage. Black & linen interior with some pod cracks & wear on the driver's seat bolster. Its been his daily driver for the past couple of years. I've ridden in & driven it myself & it drives well. Its not perfect, few are, & you be lucky to buy a similar S model for this price, much less a 1990 S4.
I've told you what I know of it. Anyone interested further please contact George directly on his cell at 863-273-2415 for additional information.
If you know George, he & Claudia are 1st class people all the way & I'm honored to call them my friends. He has extended his kindness to more than one Shark owner that I'm aware of & whoever buys this 928 will be getting a solid car. Those that don't know him, there is no hidden agendas here, he just needs to generate some cash quickly is all. With today's economy, anyone of us could be in the same situation in a moment's notice. If your not interested in the car, please keep any negative criticisms to yourself. He's priced it at $5k, barely over the cost of some parts cars ok.
These are some random pics I have of the car from SITM 07 & Sebring 08.

The car looks great and for that price, that's terrific. Good luck with the sale.

From: In the boatyard installing the mast and engine, we don't need a crane, we harness the mesquito's! Yeah!
No - It only has a couple of very minor issues, it is a great car.
I wish George didn't need to get rid of it.
He's happy to see me with it, and it will still grace his presents periodically
I'm not much for automatics - just might have to throw one of the 5 spd boxes in there.
Now to make sure the old Ghost doesn't get jealous over the paint!
