That certainly doesn't look like a Chevy grill. It looks more like a dodge.

Hey, maybe it's a Canadian Chevy.

OK, I'm gonna go with a 1952 Studabaker.

Come on Ryan, the suspense is killing me.

The car is....................

a Studebaker, and i actually think it is a 1952. I have no idea but i think your close if not dead on. Know anyone that would want to buy it cheap? My dad wants to get rid of it. What do you think its worth?

Probably not much of anything. Studabakers are still wayyyyyy underappreciated. Someday the mid 60's Hawks will be worth a fortune.

Man, you sold a worked over high mile GT for mid twentys. You should easily fetch 2 g's for this piece. And I mean this as a sincere compliment to your salesmanship.

By the way, now that i see the whole grill, I think JP is right, it's a '47. By 1952 they had the big V in center of the grill.

Kevin, sorry again for not sticking to topic, but the body of that 60-friggin-year-old car is in really solid shape..just shows you how a life out West treats a car. A good candidate for a restoration....if only Stude's were sought after.

I would have to bet that if that car were restored it would bring in a GOOD chunk of change, especially as a studebaker!
I only wish I didn't have so many projects..
I'd do it in a heartbeat! That car was a piece of art.
