Default '90GT Wheel Question

Any idea if these will really fit the 1990 GT without the need for spacers?

Is the link

Weird enough, the bolt patten is listed as 4 x 100.00, which is wrong for a 928.

Fronts:
18 x 8.5 45 Silver w. Polished lip 5 x 130.00 $349.00
Faggedaboudit.

18 x 8.5 52 Silver w. Polished lip 5 x 130.00 $349.00
They will *just* fit, but you won't like it. If your ride height is a little off stock, they will rub the fenders while turning. A spacer will only make it worse.

Rears:
18 x 10.0 40 Silver w. Polished lip 5 x 130.00 $429.00
May just fit, but too close.

18 x 10.0 52 Silver w. Polished lip 5 x 130.00 $429.00
Will fit perfectly.

Have no idea on the offset. Your RDK will not work.

Dan,

What 18"s do you recommend? Would want an OEM look.

I have set of 18" Carrera III's on my '87 S4. It gives the car a nice OEM look. They fit perfectly without any spacers. They are very easy to clean and show off the bigger S4/GT brakes.

The wheels are 18"x8" ET57 front and 18"x10" ET58 rear.

For tires, I went with Continental SC2's 225/40ZR18 front and 285/30ZR18 rear.

Mine are the replicas. You can probably grab a set new for $800 from EuroWheels or Wheel Dynamics.

Or go mega bling:

I also have Carrera III replica wheels and love them. Some of these new replicas are almost exactly like the original wheel, on some even the weights are the same. IMO it's the best OEM look a 928 can get and the wheel style is what brand new performance cars are coming with these days.

Look for the 57mm front offset 18x8". For the rear you can go with 18x10" 58mm or I think the 11" rears will also fit.
