Today at lunch I dropped by the Honda store to place a deposit on a 2009 Insight for my wife.

Good God, every salesman in the place came running out the door to look at the GTS. Place practically shut down. Kevin, who we deal with, was absolutely giddy with excitement when I asked if he wanted to take a test drive - of my car.

What fun! People ask about the shark now and then, but this was absolutely over the top. Have others had experiences like this?

Well its not everyday you see a velvet red GTS. I think most of us would have been out there drooling as well.

 

I moved the 81 Euro out of the garage for Ike and I haven't put it back in - but it is sitting at the back of my driveway and can't be spotted easily from the road.
Some lawn care workers came by this morning and rang the door bell. I was in a meeting and my wife answered the door - the owner of the lawn-care company was enthusing about the car and wanted to know if I would sell it. I have his card - mmmm!

 

It seems like almost every time I go somewhere someone asks me about mine. Seems like certain colors attract more attention because the 82 gets more looks and questions than the 85. I've had people in their cars with camera phones pull up beside me and roll down their window to take pictures. It really is a shame that a car which looks so exotic and rare can be bought on ebay for a couple of grand...well the old ones like mine anyway. BTW Tom I love that color!

 

Only time I had a reaction like that was when I had your car in my garage.

All the neighbors wanted to see it. It was a good day.

 

A 928 always make heads turn.

However, it's nothing to the ammount of drool I left on that black convertible I saw the other day. It was just perfect.
