Where's Xibit when you need 'em to "pop ya colla", yo.

Seriously, I need more context. Hard to say w/o seeing the car color. It's different, which is cool. Everone does the red and silver, silver and black, red and black....

Tell ya what. I'll have the engine pretty much together next week, I'll take some better pics once it's assembled. I can paint the intake covers without much work on the car. My daughter is going to paint the lettering on the intake this weekend, and we'll have it looking better than it looks now.

Few pics further along. I'm beginning to like it a bit better. The cam cover bolts and curved washers are going to be gold of course. I may still paint the intake side covers red. Not sure.

Nice Doc!

Love the color combo, unique and looks like you did a good job on it.

For your oil cap you can get it looking as good as new using an interior carpet cleaner and a microfiber cloth, same for the dipstick cover.

I like it, nothing wrong with being different.
I am thinking about polishing my side covers.

Wow. That is the best-looking 928 engine bay I've ever seen. Hands-down. I'm printing out that picture and using it as a reference. Stock-looking with better paint.

Looks pretty good. Like others said I'd do the letters in gold. FWIW I did my engine in cast coat iron and gold..
