IKE pics-a little 928 content......
power finally came back up-----10 days without.
a few pics from my area......pics were taken during the clean up, which is on-going......multiply this times a few hundred or so, literally. Trees down everywhere, on top of houses, power lines, etc.....we figure we got hit with at least three tornadoes, probably more. My subdivision got lucky, but others here are really torn up. One of my ex-neighbors who moved about three miles away, has four trees IN his house now.......
No damage to my upholstery guys shop to the north of me, so my interior parts that were being reworked were undamaged.
My paint and body resto guy's shop is also undamaged, so hopefully after this is all over I can start towards getting the Euro back on the path towards new paint.....
between my two generators, we powered up 11 houses for the duration. I am my own power company with my own power grid.....
clean up is progressing, but it will be weeks/months before this mess is completely gone.
and many still don't have power-----nor will they get it for several weeks. I've been keeping in touch with Adam Tiffin (84 Euro) down south (of Houston) in Pearland, and he's figuring they won't have power for at least another week...maybe two. He's on generator power as well.....
The sad story of my trucks dealing with FEMA is truly sobering, but not for this discussion.......suffice to say it's "Katrina" repeated again.
and there are still gas shortages all over the southeast US. Reports are shortages happening in Georgia, the Carolinas, etc.....
What a mess----
Glad to hear the others are doing OK.

Thanks for posting. Looks like you guys are quick to get everything picked up and back to normal. Nice to see. Most important is that everyone is safe.
