Default Seat repair parts

Currently restoring a very neglected 1987 S4 and giving the seats the tlc they deserve. The forward/back adjustment (electric) is operated by twin screw rods under the seat base which are held in position by plastic bushes (white color) these have disintergrated and allow the seats to slop back and forth an inch or so..not good. Does anyone know if these bushes are commercially available? No mention in the parts catalogue.
Thanks.

I have never stripped a seat down before but when I look at the seat catalog in PET it does show a guide bush N 902 515 01 & a clamping sleeve N 902 515 01.
I will check on price & availabilty for you and if you email me at Roger@928sRus.com I can send you the picture from PET.

I do not think they are the parts you need after I checked further.
Looks like the seat rail is a complete assembly.

Post a picture of the broken parts or the part of the seat they are located at if they are still installed. Sometimes that really helps.

Hey Rog,

I am interested too. I don't have the PET diagram - just the whole seat in PET - but it is the plastic bushing that sits on the worm spindle.

Thanks for the input, Aryan's description is probably better than mine. I believe the seats are made by Recaro, but a search of the web comes up blank. The plastic bushes haven't lasted twenty years so thought it might be a common problem.

Most if not all the 928 seats are made by Recaro.
Post some pics and we can help further.
