Question More wheel fitment questions

18x8et 52mm and (2)18x10et 65mm. What will the front offset of 52mm do to the handling of my '91 S4 with D90 wheels? I'm interested in the wheels for looks and better tire selection - but I don't want to sacrifice the great handling and ride that I have now. thanks, Doc

Should be ok. When you go below 50ET on the fron handling reportedly suffers. Depending on how wide of a tire you run, you will need a spacer for the rears. Anything wider than a 275 will need a spacer on a 91 (becasue of the fender liners). A 275 should just fit.

Question Source for 18" tires

I'm considering the purchase of a set of Classic II wheels, 18" x 8" and 10" for my '91 S4. I plugged the recommended tire sizes from Andrew Olsen's wheel calculator into the tire fitment program at the Tire Rack - lo and behold, "No matches for the size tires you have requested". Are there better sources for tires or is this an indication that I should stick with my 16" D90's?

Ask for the following sizes:

235/40/18 for the front.

275/35/18 or 275/30/18 for the rear
