Gee, I thought I bought this pig for $8,500. Will be back in Chicagoland this weekend. Friend of mine (911 owner) checked it out - front and rear bumpers could stand a repaint, rest of paint is very nice, wheels are nice (could be re-anodised), needs a few small cosmetic details, interior is pristine, carpets like new, engine sounded fine. Will have it totally checked out next week. Cars' never been out of Florida and Carfax shows miles as stated. Way too much uninformed speculation about this car on this forum - if you believed all the responses, you would never purchase a 928 on e-bay, only from a Rennlist member. This is my 4th 928 over past 15 years - presently own 3 and I do know what is costs to maintain them.
