One local guy came, and then he could not get permission from his wife to pull the trigger...loved the car...
I am surprised I still have it too. However, in all fairness to the car, I have only had it on this thread, New Orleans Craigslist, and Autotrader for the past few months (of course the price on Craigslist & Autotrader are higher than here). I have not really been pushing it too hard. Now the car is here, Craigslist, Autotrader, and on Pelican. I will put it on Ebay later this week if there are still not bites...
I took the car on a short road trip this weekend, and I can't believe it has not sold. I would keep it, but I am a hardcore 911 guy.

man... I feel your pain.
I find it ironic that when I see postings from guys with a LOT of cars they are usually single/divorced.
my wife went balistic last year when I bought an 84 928S for a semi-daily driver for $3600 and put about $600 into maintenance so far. I have modified my 85 911 for track/DE to the point it is too harsh to drive on the street for pleasurem but is still street legal.
of course that was on the heels of my buying and doing a full frame up restore on an 83 Honda CB1100F the year before.
but over the past year or so she got granite counter tops, new stainless dishwasher/refrigerator. now looking into other house projects approaching $10k. she took early retirement over 4 yrs ago... I am still working.
as a nod to your doing the necessary for your relationship and to set the tone for married life check this link:

wish there wasn't a proximity issue. Colors aren't my favorite but no rub strip is great and price is too. Good luck though, looks like lotsa life left hope it finds a good home.
