I had hot running problems with mine in cool wet england, i've since replaced the t stat and plugs for cooler versions and will instal a kenlowe 14" front fan and a new rad.

I've alson gone to town with heat barrier matting on the airbox and charge cooler.

My radiator and condensor were just out of the car and cleaned . The outside of the radiator was actually cleaned with a coil acid cleaner. Radiator has no leaks.

I just last night replaced the 16" fan I received with the Murf kit with a Zirgo ZFU16S "ultra high performance" fan. This fan moves 3630cfm where the kit fan ZFB16 only 2803cfm. Also just a note; on the 16" fan received with the kit the blade was not reversable. So after talking with Zirgo they did advise me that changing the fan into a "pusher" was OK but would hurt performance. (That blade was on the shaft with a nut) The new ZFU16S's blade is connected with a clip and can be flipped in either direction.

I took a ride this am and it seems to help out on those boosted rides with A/C. But again my concern still being that it is wired to the secondary circuit and not receiving a full 12V. I got out of the car (hood down) and checked the fan and it just seem to be running at about 1/2 - 3/4 speed. I pulled in the garage and quickely jumped it to a solid 12V and wow it took off!!!

I can re-confirm this, when I wired the 4 pie fans direct it made a huge difference!

I don't like the idea of all the fans running all the time, but living in this 95 degree weather 9 - 10 months of the year I need something going on where I dont have to worry about the temp.

Thanks for any help.
