FWIW I ran these wheels without spacers and they fit just fine, maybe a bit too large of a gap in the rear. The S4 8" wheels are a direct fit to the early cars and I'm pretty sure Keith is running the 8's on all four corners on his euro. Were chromed wheels an option from the factory? I was under the impression they were not and all chromed wheels were aftermarket.

This is a picture of the car from the PO before I bought it, and you can see how they fit without spacers.

It's funny, many drivers here bash the dish wheels, but I like them a lot, in all the various finishes. A real grand slam home run would be replicas in an 18x8 and 18x10 with correct offsets.

I like mine. I think they look good on a black car. But, when these tires are shot, I will probably move up to 17" rims because the tire selection for the 16s is pretty poor.

Yeah, all the posts about how you can't give them away and I sold them in six minutes...and have a couple others asking to be next in line. Maybe I should have asked for more.

Ah well, pay it forward!

Sorry Jeremy. My wife got tired of tripping over them in the garage and hauled them out and gave them a good cleaning herself, took the pics and said Here! Post them! LOL.

Mark, my wife wants a set of them for the car in the avatar, which has anodized version. Loves the retro look. She and I saw the post minutes after shark attack made his cold and calculated move.

( we also saw them listed on craigs list)

The chrome was what sold them. Chromed is the only way I like those rims. I've got a set of the 7",8" non chromed and they look like crap. They definitely need chrome.

I was in that same boat, and then I saw a set I REALLY LIKED...and...well...a bunch of my mad money suddenly disappeared. But this just means I've reduced the price I paid for the new wheels and a Motorsports Y-pipe will be on the way shortly.

I have a set of Chrome wheels with Potenza S02's but the tires are shot. I am missing one of the centre caps though... I will take some better pics this weekend but here they are on my old S4.

Price $450 + shipping with bad tires or $550 with set of Toyo proxy tire with about 70% tread (will need to check the tires)
