The guy at the shop said that it was blowing ice cold after a evac/recharge and the only
place the sniffer found was the switch. He also said the switch was leaking pretty bad.

I really hope this fixes, it, figers crossed!

Replaced the low pressure switch now the shop says the expansion valve is leaking too.

He said it looks like someone tried to fix it before using JB weld. Nice.... another
reason I'd like to slap the hack that had this car before me.

I pulled off a black oring from the Low Pressure switch when I replaced it. I'm getting more
confident that the only thing done to actually 'convert' my car to 134A was replace the R12
with 134A.

Need some help here:

Does anyone know of a kit with all the Orings that should be replaced for the 134A conversion.. and
maybe a diagram of where they all go? I'd like to try this myself.

I guess I'm ordering a new expansion valve today, hopefully this is a pretty stock part.

Just follow the A/C hoses. There are two at the compressor blocks, two at the hose attachments to the compressor, two on the condenser, one on the low-side connection under the jump-start post, one on the side of the receiver-drier, two on the fuel cooler and four at the expansion valve. If you have rear A/C, there's more.

Converting to R134A without replacing all the o-rings is one on a long list of things that gives R134A conversions a bad name...

Thanks,
Just ordered the orings from Roger @ 928srus, I'll post again when I get at it.

Another question though.. Are R12 orings black and R134A Green??? or was that
just a coincidence on the LP switch?

O-rings used in R12 systems are NBR. R134A o-rings are HNBR. Either of these two types of o-rings can come in any color. Usually the HNBR ones are green, but sometimes they are also black.
