I couldn't figure out which thread I wanted to make this post to, so I just wanted to start my own. A whopping .39 posts per day. Only took me 6 years to get to this point on Rennlist, but I've had the 928 sickness a long while.
Thanks to everyone on this forum for helping along the way. If I have been any help to anyone, just pay it forward.

I don't know if I have ever been help to you, but you have been a great deal of help to me... For everyone> John helped me run wire to my shop and really tore his back up bad. We tried to pull 4-one ott wire that was wraped as one big *** wire through a 2 inch conduit for 100 feet. OUCH
Thanks John!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

Dear John;
Let me count the ways you have helped me you big strapping man!
First & foremost was your touching concern when my bohemian husband bloodied my nose with the airbag. I felt so close to you at that moment.
Then, how could I forget Mike plowing into your rear end at SITM '07. Titillating to say the least. Two big strapping men at once! Oh my.
Had I only known when we were last together I would have planted a big wet one on your kisser. 928 posts. Oh my!
On the other hand, the guys in Roger's garage might have been a little taken back at my planting a big wet one on your kisser. Well, all of them but Roger.

Well.......okay.......Cheryl............Send Randy back soon (I think) and maybe we can get him hooked up with Justin. Justin who, you say? You know, the Sheep Romancer. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
Post #928 was fun while it lasted. I always knew it would come to this, and now it's gone. Thanks Shane for saving it for my posterior...uhmm... posterity.
Sean, are you going to have her compressor rebuilt? If so, get it to them tomorrow and you could get it back Friday.
I think I'll hijack my own thread here since post 928 is gone forever and I'm already over my .39 posts per day quota.
I pulled the front of the engine off of the frauquartzmettalic (sp?) silver/gray '83. Someone had semi dismantled it already. It appears that there was a tensioner issue with the timing belt. The timing belt appears to be okay (not that I would reuse it or anything) but the tensioner needs to be rebuilt. Since this is a non interference engine, unless there are other issues with the engine that I haven't yet found, besides the cam and oil pump gears worn it may be okay after a TB/tensioner replacement. I have already seen evidence of some extremely poor wrenching. It will just be a matter of how deep that previous wrencher got into the engine. I'm betting not very far before they deternined they had no idea what in the hell they were doing. We shall see.
The '80 Euro starts right up but has an oil leak on the right side of the engine. I am planning to bring it to the GTG on Sat. Maybe after i might get a chance to run it on a lift from someone in that neck of the woods to diagnose it properly. I guess I could take it Sean and Angela"s driveway and mark my territory further while I'm up that way. Just seems right to do that. LOL

You do realize that the Blue 89 ran like a raped ape right up until you finally fixed all the oil leaks. ![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)
That might be how your universe gets balanced. Let the green one leak. LOL.
