I just got informed the other night by my gf that you had msged me a few times. I have been out in the field for awhile now. I will be home soon and will be taking a month off.
I am interested in swapping autos with you, as I would rather have the LSD auto in my 87, mainly for when the snow flies if I drive it. Let me know if you are interested.

This is not true in my 87 with 2.64 gears. I have pegged the speedo in it a few times, and at 180 or so on the speedo is where I see the wall. After that it takes a mile or so to creep 5 mph at a time. It pulls HARD to 180 though.

If it hasn't been said, yes, that is what I did to my car... just a gear swap (2.64), same transmission.

I drove a 2.64 S4 the other day and it felt stout!

How many late 2.64 5spd gear boxes were made?
