I always LOVE how people improperly use the FEET indication " ' " instead of the INCHES indication " " " for tires and such! You see it all the time... I always want to email them and ask what car a 19 FOOT tire would fit on?!

BTW, I like the wheels! Very nice polished lip on them! How will that 40mm B/S work on the front of a 928? We always talk about needing at least 50mm don't we???? I see they have them on a 996 though and I have always thought the 996 wheels work GREAT for 928's... Maybe he did not know what/how to measure for proper B/S???

I would call the seller and have him measure the inner rim to the hub surface ffor the offsets.
from whats posted it sounds like they would NOT be good for the 928.
I would also suggest that you find a set of 18 inch wheels there are more tire choices and the 18s will ride better

Why go thru all that expense and trouble and still only have 235's up front?

Actually you can fit a 265 on an 8.5" width rim with the proper profile,

However you will not be able do it with a 42mm offset.

Its funny he shows them on a 996 but they aren't staggered???? I sent him an email to get to the bottom of this! I thought a 40mm offset was needed in the rear to run a 11" wide rim and a 50 in the front to run a 8.5" rim?

I've been shopping for a used set of 17" Fikse wheels for about a year as a backup to the set of wheels on my car and no luck maybe you'll have better luck

The front offset is wrong, they will stick out past the front fender.

http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/754202202.html

or the wheels I posted also come in 58mm offset for the front..... I'll prob think about it over the weekend b4 I spend my $

the offsets are totally wrong on both ends-----

you need 55's on the front and 67's on the rear.

if you are serious about tire/wheel combo purchasing, look no further than:

Wheel Dynamics (LA, Cal)

Carlos (Wheel Dynamics sales) has ads on eBay all the time, with the CORRECT OFFSETS in various shapes, colors, and sizes.

and the prices for his packages are right in line with those wheels you referenced.

I have a set of 19 inch Carrera 997's on my Euro, bought from Wheel Dynamics and shipped to my office in great time.

not where I can put my finger on it, but you can go to eBay, then "porsche 928" in the search box, then parts and accessories, then scan thru til you see wheel ads......he's usually got a dozen or so at any given time.

I checked eBay listings for Wheel Dynamics' ads, and there are none at the moment.

looks like you'll have to go to their website to get more info......

Since you have the same car I'll take your advice and give them a call. If I pick some wheels up from them I'll owe you a beer or 2!
