Default Picture of Bentley Twin Turbo engine

Sorry for the size, though someone would like to see the details... Snapped a picture of a Bentley engine on a stand while visiting The Pageant of Power a two weeks ago and thought it might be of interest to builders here. The exhaust manifolds does not look good to me, seems like the turbo is custom made for the appliction also?

Looks like a pretty compact design.

what's wrong with the manifolds? I think they're beautiful. I see amazing work and an incredible array of workmanship.

Its VW isn't it. A Twin turbo version of the W8 in the Phaeton?

It's a VW engine...W-12 configuration with twin turbos bolted on for Bentley duty...you can find this engine sans turbos in the defunct Phaeton.

Bentley GT and GTC is powered by a twin turbo charged 12 Cylinder. It's the block they used in the W12 Phaeton. And it's not all polished like that from the factory.

Phaeton is still being produced and sold world wide. Just not in the US of A.

I agree they are probably efficient, but that is because the factory has done a lot of flow-testing to get them right. John with the twin-turbo S4 received a lot of negativity because his manfolds was of this type.
